BetaNo legalese. Here's exactly what ParentSOS does with what you tap in.
ParentSOS only stores the choices you tap into the weekly reset — your camp days, dietary preferences, and the city or postal code you enter for weather — along with your email address, which we use to send you a setup confirmation and weekly camp prep reminder emails (a week-ahead heads-up, a mid-week check-in, and a night-before recap). You can also optionally add your first name and your children's first names so your plan and reminder emails read naturally (e.g. "Hi Lynnette," or "Mia's lunch"). Names are optional — leave them blank and the app will simply say "your child."
Your data stays on servers in Canada, is never sold or shared for marketing, and is automatically deleted after 30 days. You can unsubscribe from notifications at any time, and email us anytime to access or delete your data sooner.
Any first names you enter are stored alongside your weekly reset data, used only to personalize your plan and reminder emails, never shared, and deleted with the rest of your tester data after 30 days. Names are entirely optional — if you leave them blank, ParentSOS will simply refer to "your child" instead.
Tester data — including your email address and any optional first names you entered — is retained for 30 days and then deleted. If you'd like your data removed sooner, see "Request deletion" below.
All personal information you provide to ParentSOS is stored and processed on servers located in Canada. Your data is not transferred outside of Canada for storage.
